End of a chapter

I sit in front of my computer, Flat 52 Woodhall, Robert St, London. The overcast sky looms outside the wide windows. The bare trees wave their branches mournfully. I left Beijing yesterday and today, I return to Providence.

You may think that this is the beginning of a long emo post. You may even think that it will be an elegiac piece, full of long pauses and lingering thoughts and even the occasional SAT word.

You may think that.

But you would be wrong.

China was good and that's the end of it. Quoting a certain someone, I did my best and have no regrets. She was a good catch and perhaps one day I will rue my decision but I believe that it's the best for us. I couldn't really see a future.

So all balls, thank you very much for your care and concern and the live ball support provided during certain pivotal moments. As usual, Team Rubbish came up with magnificent suggestions. I would also like to thank my biggest fen, Sen, who for that short time in China, would never fail to ask about the form whenever he saw me online. I hope that everyone has enjoyed this little episode even if, alas, there was no fairy-tale ending. Take care now boys and may the god of balls, the giant scrotum in the sky (are you listening Cheong and Jing?) look out for you. Whoosh!
