It takes about 3 hours by train from london-paris. Its comfortable and much much better than a plane.

Paris Landmarks (* means recommended

*Eiffel Tower - I'm sure you know what this is....
*Champs Elysee - main shopping street, like orchard road with style
Arc de Triomphe - its an arch at one end of the shopping street. Looks nice. Well nearly everything in paris looks nice.

Basilique du Sacre Coeur
Notre Dame
Both of these are kind of gloomy, but the stained glass is nice. And Notre Dame is famous.

Musuems
*Louvre - One of the biggest musuems in the world. Full of interesting stuff. I spent 2 days there and I wasn't bored, and didn't see everything
D' Orsay - More modern art. Pretty nice also

Daytrips
*Versailles - Palace of French Emperors. You will know what @#$$% rich means once you go there.
