Northward Ho!

Hi guys, I am now spending the night at an internet cafe in Sapporo, the biggest city in Hokkaido, because the first train to the place I'm going, Kucchan, departs at 0715.

I took the ferry from a port relatively near Kyoto and here are a couple of pictures taken during the trip:

I bought the cheapest ticket for 6300 yen so I only had floor space but it was a surprisingly comfortable. I spent 12 of the 17 hours fast asleep. The other hours, I spend doing things like drinking on the sun deck and soaking in the public bath they had on the ship. Nothing like an onsen (well technically not an onsen but a sento) overlooking the ocean.

I think I should have internet at the nature center place I'm going to but in case I don't, take care guys! And Sen, it's good that you are thinking it through, whatever you decide upon will be the better for it.
