updates on life
Hello guys,
I know I've always been one of those vociferously pushing others to blog and I've been MIA for like MONTHS so far. Lots of things happening over here in Australia but I just felt a general sense of malaise towards blogging.
First things first, PPK if i'm not wrong is Paedo-Pervy K. I penned it so I believe I'm correct on this one. And koonardo, I'm sure we're gonna be going on and on about this but I'm truly impressed and humbled by the way you've handled this situation. I doubt I could be so optimistic so quickly. I would think I'd have long bouts of whining first but hats-off to you man. I really wish I was back in Singapore. It is a shitty feeling to have someone go through something like this and you're not nearby to go see them. My grandfather (granduncle actually) has lung cancer now...2 years after his bone cancer went into remission and it has spread to his marrow and eating it up so he's basically terminal. So when I heard that Koonardo also going through something similar (well not TERMINAL of course) it just SUCKS to be overseas man. Anyway it just makes the summer hols so much more exciting to look forward to!
About my life here, well I WAS the Indian version of Phua Chu Kang over here for the first 2.5months. The house next door is now done and tenants are inside!! so i will never have to step in to do anymore repair work. Feels bloody good i tell you. Also, i went to the great ocean road (go see facebook pics if you care to) and drove a full 7-8 hours in one day from melbourne to 12 apostles and back. and then one week later drove 8 hours from sydney to brisbane non-stop :) i'm mad i know but the driving is amazing here and the scenery is good shit. i bought a body board to surf (its the lyin down on the board kind not the standing kind) and i'm bringing it back to singapore so we have to plan somemore Ballbrother Bali trips or trips to wherever there is surf.
On another note, i MISSED my flight to melbourne on friday. i was supposed to go to melbourne for F1...and i missed my flight. Yes yes it is rather dumb, i felt dumb after it...wanted to bury my head in the sand and forget the shame but yea well...can't run away from the fact that i missed it. Flight was at 5 am, had to leave the house at 330. I set the alarm from 3 and was woken up at 5 by the person who was supposed to send me. 1. I had switched off my alarm without even waking up; 2. My uncle who was supposed to send me, thought he was NOT sending me so did not wake me up; 3. I told my cousin not to bother setting an alarm cos my uncle would wake me up. So a sequence of shitty happenings combined to ensure that i never got on my flight to melbourne. and i wasted 190 bucks. PAIN. the bright side is (if you can call it one) i had not spent any money on accomodation or on f1 tickets YET so i didn't lose anymore money. but still...........................ugh.
SO thats the update from down under. As for summer plans, i will be back in singapore on the 10th of July. After that its free for all. Looking forward to it ALOT. Until next time guys.
