Back from start of 1st cycle of treatment

Hi Balls,

I just got home from the 1st cycle of treatment today. I had to stay in the hospital for 4 days so that they could make sure my condition was stable when they injected the treatment drugs into my central venus line. I had about like a few litres of medicine injected into me every day, and I had to pee out something like 4 litres of pee per day such as to flush out the toxins. This made it damn hard to fall asleep coz I kept having to pee. The nurses also had to take my temp, BP and pulse every hour which was quite sian also. But all in all, at least the side effects was not that much to bear... pretty bearable and I didn't feel that much pain. I received a good news in the hospital too; my groin biopsy results have shown that there is no lymphoma there, meaning that the cancer cells are localised to the medistinal area, which is upper part of the chest. This clasifies my case to a stage 2 instead, making it easier to cure and administer treatment.

Because this is the first treatment, the effects of the drugs can't be seen that much yet. However, the doctor said that there was a slight reduction in the cancer marker, meaning that the number of cells have decreased a little bit. The other test results that came back were also alright after the treatment, so I guess if this goes on, I have no doubt of having a full recovery in time to come. Once again, I will not give up no matter what shit happens and I will perservere in this treatment. On a random note, I'd like to tell you guys about this form I had to sign for this chemo medication that I had to take. They said that on signing this form, please do not have unprotected sex with your partner after taking this medication, because if she gets pregnant, there is a chance that the kid will be born without limbs. Must wait for 4 weeks then the risk will go away, then can have unprotected sex. Kinda scary eh.
