interview headache

just finished an interview with Blackrock, an asset manager for those of you who don't follow the industry.. anyways i think it went ok but deep down i'm not really expecting a job from them or really from anyone else here in the US.. it's just so tough right now..

and last night while prepping i was talking to neighbour jervis bay, because he interviewed with them last year and now has a full-time job with the same department i interviewed with! anyways i feel kinda pathetic.. everyone else can get a job here, even in these tough times, and i don't think i can.. didn't really wanna share with him the fact that i don't really have many applications left open and chances are i'll be goin home for summer.. makes me feel kinda worthless when i hear all the success stories of pple studying overseas and them getting that sweet job.. that was the whole point of splashing the cash for college here! to get one foot in the door which now, seems to have to be retracted back to the warm confines of the SG job market.. not that SG sucks (to all the local balls) but i was hoping for an extension on my overseas experience..

anyways! i dun really understand fully what chieh was referring to at the end of his last post.. premature or too tired to remain HC for more than 10 thrusts? the latter would really be quite sad.. at least ur still getting some right? sounds like u had a gd eurotrip, switz is really quite nice in the mountains.. why is it that i have to drive? is this ball trip really going to happen? who is in charge of organizing it? not me..

hahah yes joo i wanna hear what everyone does for Vday, esp chieh.. i dun think i'm doing much on the day itself! not really looking forward to paying 5 times what flowers usually cost but i think it's the minimum one should do if the gf cares about celebrating the day..

on the happy side at least no job here means that i'll be home for summer! time for that promised brunch and lots of WE.. post more!!
