Softball

Yesterday I played in a slowpitch softball tournament. It was damn bloody fun, especially since I never did touch softball after j2. I trotted down to some park, and without any warmup, especially without my HAPPY warmup, BAM straight into a game I went. They put me in 3rd base, and I kena raped like mad. Couldn't stop any ball, did another killer toss that missed (like finals to Niger), hit plenty of screw tariks - basically typical Koo.

So I felt damn demoralised, but then I think slowpitch is just about getting used to the bloody ball's path. So when I finished at the 4th game, 3 at bats 3 HRs RAWRRRRRRR!! Highlight of the day, really damn fun. Now I can understand why you guys still enjoy playing, although I don't think I could afford the time to train anymore now. So it's good that it's semi competitive and semi recreational.

Fun thing was that they called this tournament Beerball. So everyone was strongly encouraged to drink throughout the games, and for every dubious (or even remotely dubious decision) a team could choose to appeal by spinning the bottle and seeing which direction the decision goes. If the appeal fails, the team has to drink hahaha.

Softball is so much fun. I now realise what I've been missing out on.
