Briefing for Ball Holiday part 2
Ok guys. We need to do something really cock to keep up the ballness each year. Just supper, Battlefielding and blah isn't cock enough. Here are the activities lined up for August, and the tasks:
1) Creation of Ball Tshirts
Everyone will get a Ball Tshirt. This comes complete with a Ball logo, your chosen ball nickname, and your ball picture. (?) It will be cheap, and ugly, but compulsory to be worn for all Ball activities, or at the minimum every Sierra.
Orh Tnee: To design the Tshirts. No effort required.
Lam Nua: To coordinate with Tnee, digitialise and source out the printing and materials.
2) Invitational Ball Softball match against SMU softballers
We will reunite in glory and take on SMU softball in a slow pitch match, set either on the 3rd of August or 17th. (Looks like 17th Jing sorry, because I just saw Kennard returns on 10th.)
Captain Cheong: To deconflict and find out when is best date to accommodate maximum Balls.
Lam Nua / Souljah Joo: To link up with SMU softball, book area, equipment.
Junior Frank: Possibly to organise training for the cui softballers
3) Closing Ceremony @ Jalan Merah Saga, Opening Ceremony @ Fernhill 12
Due to be set during the later half of August. Highlights will include the creation of a Ball flag, flag lowering and flag raising with parade drills, possible BBQ @ Fernhill 15. Dress code dependent on how hardcore you want it to be.
Koonard: Having had the most experience as flagbearer, Koonard will come out with the drills.
CPL J00: Flag bearer
Responsible Cook Jing: To plan out BBQ makan menu
Chong and Cheong: To check availability of both camps
Signal Ladro: To record proceedings and procure media equipment
4) Jing's Farewell
Any plans / suggested dates for Jing's farewell before Aug 12? Although still some time to go, better plan something ahead. Jing any suggestions?
Koo will do his best to contribute whatever he can across the many oceans and seas from nippon land. Do expect lots of eyepower.
GUYS, THIS WILL NOT BE EMPTY TALK! HOO-HAH!
