My sad existence...

Ok i exaggerate when i call my plight a sad existence. It's not really that bad. I talk to Lynn every day (which is more than i even talk to my parents i guess) and nothing's impeding us. But the sad existence is the fact that every day when i'm alone i need to contemplate the really unimaginable prejudice that her parents posses. Nigel no they aren't christian. (her brother is but her brother is our only support at the moment) If it were a religion thing I MAY understand but it isn't and to contemplate ranking races is just beyond my comprehension. To make sweeping statements bout an entire race of people based on knowledge of a handful smacks of self-absorption and just plain arrogance. E.g. Indians are people whose culture is based on lies that are accepted as truths. How do you qualify or quantify such a statement? To be honest even Singapore Indians are afraid of India because we get cheated/mugged/swindled as much as the next foreigner. That being said I still recognise India as the land of my ancestry...just that it is not in my blood by virtue of my skin colour or my gene pool to be a trickster. That is what i resent the most. And i've never felt so bad that i would spend DAYS ranting bout it. I mean i've spent 3 blog posts on this issue alone yea?

Anyway on happier news, exchange applications are OPEN!!! woohoo....time to contemplate a short stay overseas. Prob applying down under :) Can't wait for the clear blue skies and bright sparkling nights of australia. And Chieh, you look like one person who's finally embraced the whole living overseas bit. Better than cheong or chong for sure and of course dear Jing-ster has been off radar so much that I don't even know how he's feeling. -I wonder if he has long hair now...- Anyway blog away guys this is gettin HOT.

p.s. Can you guys ask tneeple to stop drinking in school...its just wrong.
