Back to School

Hello guys,

Really nothing much to blog about so I'm just going to ramble. Everyone seems too busy to talk on MSN *sob. I'm enjoying school a lot more than this time last year, probably because I know a lot more people now. International orientation was fun, especially the skits about American culture. I came up with the idea of having a lesbian sexile scene =)

Think the most significant thing I've been doing is decorating my room haha. It now has a tatami make and a rice paper lantern lamp, very Oriental. Have a ton of work, I already have a Jap test and essay and it's only been the first week of school. Classes are interesting though, I'm taking a seminar on colonialism in East Asia. I told my Japanese friend that and she was "I apologize for what my people did to your people" haha. Taking a couple of econs classes and a sociology one on corporations and cities. Nothing amazingly exotic but I find them interesting, geek boy that I am.

Still can't really think of any activities to do. I signed up for cricket though! and I finally finished editing my travel essay and sent it to the English department. They'll publish it in their online journal hopefully. Been enjoying my dinners at Zhihao's apartment. Had salmon last night. The best part is, I'm not even the one cooking most of the gourmet stuff. I've just been using up all the premix sauces.

Sen, I've decided on winter plans yet but I'm still thinking about Central America. Kinda afraid of going it alone though and there's no one I really one to travel with.
