No Slave to the Rat Race
I just dropped my 5th course and it feels damn shiok. The part of me that was honed in the Singaporean education system makes me feel like I should have tried but for the sake of a better standard of living, less work is good. I really liked the comparative literature class I dropped but when I woke up this morning at 915 am and felt like going back to sleep, I knew something was going to give. When I couldn't concentrated in class due to lack of sleep, it was time to fill up the add/drop form. I spent almost the whole weekend less Friday cooking and studying and I still had so fricking much work left. And there seems a lot more Japanese homework as well.
So there, I decided to concentrate on 4 classes. I just signed up to be an English tutor and I'm going to the activities fair tomorrow in the hope that I'll find something interesting there. If not, I can always watch anime. Life feels better already.
