Haven't been on for a long time or blogging because have been trying to mug, for the formative assessments that ended just today! Yay!! (Yes even though they don't count towards anything) So finally I can get down to doing all the things I wanted to do, like vacuum my room, plan my easter trips, do some volunteering, settle all the loose admin. 4 more weeks of school til easter, but it already feels like easter now whee!

Jing, I heard about the misfortunate accident over brokeback from the balls, and I'm really mortified but I hope you've recovered or at least well on the way towards recovery. It's all we can do while we're separated by miles of water. And somewhat strange to mention this on the same post, but yeah chong glad to hear you enjoyed snowboarding. I told you it was fun and you don't need to think so much about it.

Now on to Nigel's point. Well firstly, I have to say that my observation of yanks, mainly from the sizeable chunk of them that come over for exchange and stay within my halls, is that they are really really cock and I couldn't imagine having to mingle with them. It's a generalization because I've met some normal yanks, but some really are cocks, especially when this bunch was behind me queuing up for food once, and from queuing to eating their food all they talked about was how shiny the apple was in UK compared to US. WTF?

Well, Keith, I am sorry to say that I fall into the other category of not putting thought into my talk in fear of appearing stupid, both back in Singapore or in the UK (which pretty much explains the apparent lack of beibeis). I pretty much am the same way here as I am in Singapore, just no Singlish :( I bitch to them about why I'm yellow and can't get the white girls with PENISIL, check out the white girlies, they share their girlfriend problems, they know I'm cheapo, talk about anything in general - all in all, just the same cockster that I was back in Singapore. Not all the friends you have will be close friends, it's the same anywhere! I'm just glad out of all the friends I have, I've made some really close friends. Friends that I know now for sure I will keep in touch even after leaving - Hooray!

I think the focus shouldn't be on what colour your friends are, but just the quality of friends you make. It's definitely good to immerse yourself in a foreign culture, but no one ever said you had to neglect what you're comfortable with! Just for me now, I've grown more comfortable with the whities because of where I stay and my course. Just find a bunch of friends you can really click with and be laid back, Singaporean or not, and be how you are normally with people.. which is.. Umm.. ERR.. ghey. hahahahaha.

Kennard, Josh and I think that this time it's nice to see Kennard really mature and be so Chi Qing over Cherie. I'm sure things will work out fine, don't worry and don't be so sad! We're here for you, even when you need your street soccer action!

THE ONLY FUCKING PROBLEM IS THAT I HAVEN'T ESTAB NEUT ON THE BEIBEIS. WHY AM I SUCH A FUCKING LOOSER.
