Nua is good

Today was supposed to be my gai gai day because Chieh's in school from 9 - 5 but then when I woke up, it was raining. What a bummer. But then... I'm actually secretly pleased that I can avoid leaving the room and just study Japanese or something. Only problem is that I have to eat though there are instant noodles available in the room...

Oh no... The sky has brightened and it doesn't look like it's going to rain... at this rate, I might be compelled to leave the room. I don't know how the people our age can still keep going out and chionging the nightlife. The girls I can understand because there have never been through army and the joys of nuaing in bunk and snacking but for the guys? The only possible explanation I can think of are 1) They feel they've wasted a lot of time and want to make it up and 2) PES E pple who don't even know what SBO means (sorry joo). Keith, nuaing ye shi yi zhong xing (xin?) fu (for Senthil, roughly translated: nuaing is also a type of blessing), never be ashamed of it haha.

Anyway, it has been really fun here nuaing with Chieh and his friends. And Barcelona was a blast with good food, sun and pretty Espanyol girls (trust me, the UK is not the place to be for eye-candy) and we even managed to take in some cultural sights such as the architectural works of Gaudi and Museu Picasso in which Chieh surprising sustained his interest in Cubism long after my mind had started to wander. Europe is turning Chieh into a sophisticate. Anyway, I'm going back to studying Nihongo and maybe, just maybe, I'l leave this place after lunch.
