Getting hurt by people is part and parcel of growing up. It is something that everyone goes through, so don't think that you're the only one who has to suffer for it. Have you ever considered why your friends left you to play your game, i.e. the game is more interesting than you, you always cry wolf, or because you left them in Singapore while you ran off to the rest of UK while they were having sad sierras in SIngapore?

Try to empathise with other people, and talk to your friends if you still feel very hurt. After all, you don't want to be friends with only that room-mate of yours that peed in your bed right?
