Christmas plans

Dammit, everyone back in Singapore enjoying fernhill delights and it's just chong and I left here in the bitter English cold surviving on a shoestring budget. Oh well, it can only make going home back in June even more the sweeter. Chong, I think it's pretty hard for us to travel around during the period cos I heard things are insanely expensive, maybe we could try after new year before my school, 2nd Jan to 8th Jan because I think prices would be lower then?

Everyone here is getting attached, I mean you would expect that but it's taken long enough for everyone to actually start settling down. Everyone meaning the Singaporeans mainly, strangely within the angmohs they aren't really getting attached like you would expect in a Singapore university context, but definitely alot of banging going around. Oh well. Sometimes you wonder whether the you studying abroad is different from the you back at home, and whether studying overseas has become like a overseas job stint. I could imagine that having a beibei overseas would make life alot more interesting in a way, but oh well, that won't happen at all sadly. Having not much eye candy doesn't help, and knowing they're well out of your league you if actually think they are hot doesn't help too. In fact, everyone here seems to be out of your league.

Walking along the corridors of my hall today, I happened to swing my hands up really high, and then that made me think of marching, and army songs, and it made me all nostalgic inside.
