And why do I get flamed for using my own resources to find an internship? Which really isn't very resume-building simply because I don't really need one. It did rev up my brain a little for the new school year.

Well I've been here for something like 6 days now. Settling down is a chore. I finally got my handphone and I have no idea how I'm going to pay my bills for it haha. But maybe now communication will be a little easier. Haven't no computer and no phone makes me feel really backward, back to the stoneage. Even more so than when I was backpacking.

I've mixed feelings about orientation. Orientation's mostly OTOT so you can nua if you want. Only the first couple of days were quite frantic with all the rushing around. My hallmates are ok but yeah it's hard talking to Americans. The international students were easier to talk to. Maybe I'll get to know the Americans better when classes start.

WAH LAO, I just realised that the phone i just bought is locked to the provider so I can't use my singtel SIM card. Now I feel damn dulan. Sian.
