How's it going?
Dear all,
Yes I have finally got my Internet up and running, so expect to hear more of me from now on. The different time zones really make it difficult to brokeback, so I guess this makes the blog even more useful than before.
Anyway just some updates, yeah initially I found it terrible, probably one of the lowest points in my life. No friends around, no family around, no Internet, nothing to do, feeling so out of place. But now it's really so much better. I think those 2 days were amazingly depressing heh. Doing much better now, been to a boat party, been pub crawling, did some scavenger hunt thingy today, just trying to step out of comfort zone more. I know that if there were these things back in Singapore I wouldn't even need to think twice about not going.
Fresher's Fayre looks interesting. Several clubs that have caught my eye are Anime Society, Console Gaming, 5-a-side Football, Handball, Lacrosse, and all the different country societies - JAPEN, KOREAN, TAIWAN, CHINA, THAI, VIETNAM for all the potential beibeis when I find my mojo. And not to mention this NCC thingy which apparently has caught my eye because I saw that it pays about 35 pounds a day for training!
Anyway today I went to the dissection room, saw a real corpse and that we have to dissect on eventually. It was.. ok. Oh yeah I lost my student ID card 2 days after they issued it, I'm such a moron.
Regarding friends wise, I think I'm doing pretty decently. Beibei wise, the thought hasn't even crossed my mind. Oh yeah apparently some fucker stole my UK credit card which was posted to my home in Singapore, the police just reported that the found my lost credit card and lost PIN number in the drain near my house. What a fucking moronic move the bank just did, I bet they are going to get their ass raped by my mum.
Pictures wise, don't expect much because since arrival I haven't even taken my camera out of my bag. Maybe one of these weekends I'll try to meet some of them SingapoRENs. Hahahaha, nevermind.
Cheers, in true Brit style.
