I have a day job too, whoops...

You know Keith, the worst customers I've met have all been angmoh. Sure Singaporeans are rude but sometimes not saying thank you and stuff is just cultural. The Caucasians say thanks all the time but that's cause it's been ingrained in them since they were young. It's a very superficial gratitude and friendliness half the time. And that superficial friendliness quickly morphs into nastiness when they're unhappy. Though honestly, like I said, there are ugly customers of all nationalities. And it's somehow easier to take a local's crap.

Enough of waitering, I've my dear research project to get back to. I just requested for over 150 documents from the head honcho of the UN Information Service in Bangkok. He's a friend of the prof's, I hope he helps. But then... I just opened up one of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific's Annual Report, it ran to 170 pages with numerous mentions of Thailand. OMG. I think I just might have to stop waitering. It's kinda hard to do a day job when you wake up at 2.30 in the afternoon... If I pay you guys in rum, will you be my reseach assistants?
